Until we can get this Covid 19 / staffing mess behind us, The Wild Onion will only be serving a limited schedule. Same great southern cooking. And we are adding a new drive thru for roll thru comfort food!
Opened in 2005 on a Friday the 13th of all Days , we built a fantastic fan base of loyal locals and outta townee's as well!
After 7 food filled years, we closed our doors due to that nasty drop in economy and of all things a broken water pipe. The Onion was exhausted, and needed what we thought would be a tiny little break. Then more tragedy struck, a medical emergency took us out of state.... fast forward a few years (what seemed like forever) to 2020. The year we were to reopen, scheduled opening date summer 2020. Then we all met Covid...
Covid 19 that is. ... Lock down. 2020 was a dumpster fire!
Now now that everyone is caught up...
we are back!!! The Wild Onion rides again!!! (that last part is just a figure of speech... basically we are opening our doors again)
And we have missed you all so much!!!
Good ol' southern farm to table cookin!
The kind of biscuits that are made with real butter. Old fashion three layer cakes, and jumbo cookies. Black skillet, crispy fried chicken. Fall off the bone baby back ribs. Some of the best sweet tea that's ever wet your whistle, and the kind of friendly, down home hospatality that is only found in the south.
